I care what it looks like - the Xbox green would definitely clash with my Laura Ashley throws and Martha Stewart chintz, whereas the PS2 is a snug fit for my homemade tea-pot covers.
Generally I don't care about such things - but really, what where Microsoft thinking when they 'came up'* with that rubberised pool weight?
* 'came up', as in they definitely did not resort to drugs to design it, and that they've just re-packaged a Dell.
