I have to say, having gone through the loss of an uncle and a friend to suicide, I totally disagree that suicide takes courage. I think it's the other way around...and what a f*cking cruel sucker punch to those of us left behind.
But I also think that our culture, at least American culture, likes to romanticize depression and suicide.
