first, i should say i can understand why people would get bummed at designers panhandling for fonts on this board
that said
i wonder if font designers

but believe you me
they doin itbut seriously, unless i own a marketing firm with a swell markup, how in the hell can i afford to pay for every font and font family?
there are so many things i need to buy and want to buy between pay periods. and dropping 30-100 bucks on fonts doesnt rank very high in my budget.the correct way is to send the client to the websites that display the fonts i would like for them to choose from. then purchase it. but ive found finding a client to do that are far and few between. most just want us to design shit for them.
