I think too many designers forget the true litmus test of good design is to show the work to a non-designer.
What do you think a non-designer would say about this work? BOOOORING.

there's a lot of people that buy this stuff, even though a marginal population, still, in this globalized world, probably more then you'd assume.
it's like art, dig it or not. and that's what makes this world interesting.
