heh, everyone in Ottawa is really happy with the Sens' results, and we're having lots of parties for them this weekend. Bar owners downtown will be inviting Sens players over and fans get to hang out too.
Also, lots of people thought Alfie should've gotten the Conn Smythe Trophy instead of Neidermeyer, and I tend to agree. It has nothing to do with my favourite player (okay, maybe a little), but seriously, Alfie has grown more than any other player in the top NHL teams over this past year and is one of the only players to face really harsh criticism in just the past year and then lead his team in every game.
Anyway, I'm disappointed with the way Toronto fans are excessively bitchy with any Sens fan that has been over there. Someone I know was recently in the hospital there (with his Sens shirt on), and a couple of the people there were like, "are you here for therapy?". The Sens fans responded, "you guys must still be in therapy".
Anyway, I think Toronto fans still hate Alfie for mocking Sundin, even though they are both on Team Sweden and are good friends in real life.
