it's tough. june 31st will be five years since one of my best friends hung himself. the night before we had gone to a concert then back to my brother's house to drink/hang out. five minutes after we'd arrived he said he was tired and that he'd see me in the morning as we were planning on going rock climbing early. the next morning i got a phone call from his older brother who had found him in the attic. really fucked my shit up. having to talk to his mom, telling everyone that he was fine the night before. reliving every single minute trying to figure out how i couldn't see it coming.
then it happened again over this past mother's day weekend. another friend who knew the first.... unreal.
