For the week? Or the week-end? A nice, non-design related place to visit is the outdoor gardens at the Botanical Garden (Jardins Botaniques). Universities usualy have good shows... And there's some weird galleries in a building on Ste-Catherine near the big Future Shop. What else, what else... the restaurants in Old Montreal are tourist traps, avoid them. You'll pay alot for lousy food. Except for Cluney's and some other place by the same owner or some shiznit like that. Anyway, if you're there during the week, get lunch at Cluney's, it's the best restaurant in Montreal, and relatively affordable. Between 9 to 20$ depending on what you get. I'm drooling just typing about it.
