Thanks everybody. I though I would hit the community at large and see if I was just looking in the wrong places.
I guess what I was feeling was a sense of amazement. Architecture Firms... You would think there would be some really cutting edge sites out there. Dynamic, clean sophisticated contemporary. Sites WITHOUT flash perhaps. I have only found 1 or 2 that kind of hit the mark.The point being, Of course I could show the client in an impromptu meeting, hundreds of well designed sites. The problem is that none of them are in her industry. Now I am concerned that she will look within her own industry, and think to herself. Wow, my site is actually better than most of my competition, maybe I don’t need a redesign... You see none of my clients are web designers. They don’t really care if nike, or coke, or apple has a nice site. They care if their competition has a better site. It is all about keeping up with the jones’s. Of course I could pull the whole be a trend setter discussion...
