  lol, now you're just moving laterally ;)

  Basically, the short of it is that you're really going to want to live as close to downtown as possible because the following are not places that you want to live:

  Newmarket
  Thornhill
  Markham
  Mississauga
  Brampton
  Scarborough
  Vaughan

  Etobicoke is nicer in the southern part and North York isn't the worst place on earth due to it's approximation to Toronto.

  But, yeah, all the ones listed up there are suburbs of Toronto and are basically nothing but houses and stripmalls.
