Art is pretentious. (At least the conceptual trend we're living in is). It aspires to text but it hardly attains the special notion of a word or the whole meaning you can convey with a few sentences. It's hard work for no purpose. Text can be hard work for a purpose.
I said design desing was a bitch and not worth mention but only when compared to classical art. On a second thought I think it's really more helpful and workable - not that kind of design that aspires to be art (a double nonsense) but the design that works. At it's best design is workable art.
