A comment from the engagestudio guy would be nice if he was around. They did the site design and subsequent font change, didn't they.
Maybe if you look back at the original post you can see the point of my comment. Grafik is maybe trying to be a style mag, and that effort is possibly misplaced as in general the readers probably buy it for the editorial. Are you sure they expect to be challenged and intrigued from this mag? Creative Review has survived for many years as the best of the graphic design journals, but has never as i can recall, been a challenging design in itself. I actually think grafik is really nice, but some of it's approach troubled me - hence my post.
And 'gradiate', your argument's were good and thought inspiring until the last sneering remark. Try to save those up for the designers republic site. Oh, shit, I've ended on a sneering remark, my apologies *typing t-h-e-d-e-s...*
