I think the Bellas Artes museum is free on sundays. There are plenty of museums, zoo, art shows. You can visit el Chopo, they have a punk,goth,freah flea market on sundays plus live concerts. Museo del Estanquillo is a new museum showing great graphic work, I might be able to get you tickets for that.
There are a ton of things you can do.
