if the refs were good enough to catch every push, shove, elbow, etc.. diving wouldn't exist, but sometimes it gets out of control and the only justice is winning a free kick.. for every 4th elbow in the gut you receive you might be able to get the ball back with a couple of dives. def a lame part of the game, but hopefully it evens out
