if you dont know flash at all, then its probably worthwhile using that lynda stuff or getting yourself some decent books to learn the basics. or even better, get someone to show you - if you know anyone that uses flash.
then once youve grasped the basic ins and outs of the program itself and know a bit of basic actionscripting then you'll be well on your way.
you dont need to learn EVERYTHING you can about flash, you can learn what you need to as you go on.
thats the way most of us will work - we dont know everything. but if we need to build a certain thing then we'll look around for tutorials on something similar and learn from it and tweak it to our needs.
