well... I'm going to take a moment and say something actually on topic here:

taxing only the rich to redistribute the wealth via welfare etc is wrong.

Bush's tax cuts were a definite break for only the rich... and leaving the cuts at just that was also a wrong thing to do too.

...but... Programs like welfare and social security aren't FAIR to your average neighbor. I'm sorry... but I don't subscribe to a mass organized effort at making sure everyone is 'on the level'.

Here comes my 'neo-con' side... but... well... seriously... the more money that goes into programs like social security, medicare... and fuck me... WELFARE... ALL make it easier to sit back and not put in your own human effort.

... and no... I don't believe the old, the sick and the mentally challenged fall in line w/my thinking here... there should be an absolute SEPARATE program that defines how we help/care for... LOVE... our ailed and ailing.

Demanding a redistribution of wealth is just wrong though... where's the accountability of the 'single man'?

I don't believe it takes a village to raise my child... that's up to me and Mom...

... I hope I'm making some sense... I don't think I'm asking too much of my fellow man to stop complaining, stop thinking you 'deserve' to have the wealth of the rich and it's 'not fair' that they have it... (they FUCKING WORKED FOR IT!!!)...

... I know my Dad did, i know my Uncles and Aunts did... they're ALL successful and 'wealthy' (at least in my eyes)... I don't hear a complaint out of them except for when there is a demand on them to 'give up' what they worked for.
