yeah, after the series started geniunely promising,
the character of tony soprano.
this is lazy. They just want to go for the shocks.
When Chris blew that writers brains out in his apartment (you know the guy who was on AA with Chris) i thought fucking hell, this is plain gratuitous.
Ordinarily i love gratuitous, i'm a massive fan of the films of Abel Ferrera.
But this was just lazy.
Tony's becoming a 2d self parody.
His banging girls in his periods of low self esteem - incongruent
His sudden drug taking, out of character with the high moral priest he was set up to be in the first 2 series
When he kicked the shit out of Chris for shooting up smack after they disposed of Adriana - so contrived, and showed none of the depth of character of Tony's soul searching period. Again incongruent.
When Tony tries to mentally break down his sister after she gets her shit together, just out of jealous - so incredibly contrived - trying so hard to make us hate him.
The whole series has become incoherent hotch-potch.
Oh well, i'm still watching each and every last episode.
The bastards....
