    Be honest too. Like fletcher said, where was the dead pixel?

    Part of it is his fault, since he's OCD and should have checked all aspects of the monitor (by emailing you or whatever).

    Now that I think about it, if this happened to me I wouldn't take it as far as complaining through Paypal or eBay. Instead, I would definitely watch out for the next purchase I make though, and wouldn't purchase another item from the person who wasn't completely honest about the state of their product (nothing personal against you, just stating the truth of what I would do).

    Anyway, I'll stop talking now. I think you should be fine in this ordeal.
