While I do believe in selling merchandise "as is", you neglecting to tell that the monitor was in fact partly broken is what makes ebay such a pain in the ass. "Oh, the rim is bent but you can't really tell unless you go over 65" in a car you just bought, or "Oh yeah, there's infact a train track 15 paces from the front lawn, but the train rarely passes" after you've moved into a new house you found on ebay.
That's just low, and puts you in the same league as every other scammer. And saying that you couldn't even see the dead pixel after a certain amount of time?! To me that is the same thing as having a house partly falling apart in the back as saying "Oh well, I'm never out back anyway" when you're having the realtor over.
You would've gotten £80 bucks anyway from some schmuck had you just explained it. But you didn't. And there's a fine line between doing that and sending me a letter stamped Nigeria saying that someone from the royal family just died and you need my account # to transfer funds.
So boo to you.
