That said..it is a mindfield out there with this stuff, especially if your intent really is NOT to offend anyone..oh man, I started saying some stupid shit over dinner the other night with this other couple that are friends of ours of South Asian descent, and I said something stupid, and then I tried to explain my way out of how it sounded, and it kept getting worse until my wife kicked me under the table...and I wasn't trying to be offensive or racial, but I still feel stupid about it..
