-------------------i know a few vegans (not one myself) - most but not all of them are highly political and ideologically driven. Some started out as vegetarian on environmental and animal rights grounds but just couldn't stand the hypocrisy and went the whole way.
Although I disagree with a number of things they say I respect then because when they say something they mean it.
