Thanks for the feedback, guys. I actually didn't know that about red being preferred in the Winter. I don't drink much white wine, personally, but that's an interesting tip.

re: Screw cap. 10% of wine is "corked" because of bad corks. A lot of wines are going to screw caps because of this issue. Tattenger is considering switching to rubber corks for their champagnes, as well.

I haven't actually tried the wine yet. The tasting is in Brooklyn this weekend, where everyone will try it for the first time. I'd definitely encourage everyone to come. Free wine, and it'd be good to meet everyone.

These flavors (Feliz Red and Feliz White) were developed by Darrin Seigfried, President of the Sommelier Foundation of America, so they're going to be pretty damn good. In reference to the comment about having "one red" and "one white", please note that this is their inaugural launch. These aren't just red and white, but "Feliz Red" and "Feliz White", which is a specific brand and flavor. There's more information about this on their site. They're already working on two others, including a Meritage.

Anyway, thanks for the feedback and the kind words. Anyone think they can make it on Saturday? If so, let me know and I'll send directions/info.
