  not sticking up for his behavior or anything but...

  I believe it was the people and industry who put him up on a pedestal as a Design savior and the whole ridiculous notion of designers being rock stars got the ball rolling.

  I personally think he could give a fuck less and is laughing all the way to the bank. I gaurantee you right now , he is doing this
