Actually, there is a hotel out here in Cambridge called the Gateway Inn. It is like $89/night. Pretty good deal, and right next to the T (our metro), and that will take you where ever you might like to go. A lot cheaper than staying in the downtown area. Dont get me wrong, it isnt exactly the Ritz, but, it does the job.
Email me if you stay there. Very close to my house. Be happy to take you around to the REAL sites here in Boston.
