usually a preloader is code that just sits alongside a 100-frame-long animation (i.e each 1 frame represents 1% loaded).
just look for a preloader on flashkit.com or somewhere then change the animation to something that the client wants - or something related to the shape/colour of their logo.
do something unique for them.
