You can get a Dell dual for $2k, if you want to.
You have to look at the specs. The top of the line Dell will have some RAID configuration that exponetially increases the price, scsi drives, and $1500 graphic cards. I seriously doubt that any one would spec that stuff in an Apple, even one this powerful. I don't even think you can get graphic cards that good for an Apple, even if you wanted to.Look at the details. It's like saying
"Why does the Ferrari cost more than the Mustang, they both have V8s".
