I'm not saying they're not good, or that stuff done by hand can't be top quality and extremely detailed, but those just don't have a look of being done by hand. There would be something lost in a scan that would be obvious, I think.
Plus, these are actual buildings, so there are definatly in some form of 3d construction format from AutoCad, MicroStation, etc. and making a 2d rendering from such a thing is not difficult to do.
