eww. work in double your dpi. for instance, if they go 300 DPI, work in 600 DPI. This will give you that 1/8, 1/16, etc move with no loss, or at least very very very little. You could still double your size and still be at 300 DPI. I have learned this process the hard way. yeah. huge file size. but better doing it once, not twice.
