yeah, fill flash and such. in many cases, like that canyon one with the crow, you need a filter on your flash, it looks too white'ish.
i have that problem myself a lot, i hate it, but it is hard to apply though.
you either got to estimate the color temperature of the environment yourself or use a color temp meter and have a whole bunch of filters.
the other solution is, if you work digital, is to adjust the white balance (manually if possible) and make it match the flashlight and adjust it later on in Photoshop, to make it warmer or whatever.
