Yes, it does pay to sell some of your real estate off to advertisers when you need to... its a revenue model made profitable because the practice of making banners exists...but I'm thinking about how effective those ads really. ? Coulnt's you make he same money by making marketers buy hyperlinks off of relevant information? Sponsored info that gels seamlessly with existing content as revealed information to me would be more appealing than "buy now click here".
