Thats the style of the show. It's always been the style of the show. A lot of shit is going down on camera and off. They do often introduce new characters and sub plots as if they'd been there since Ep 1. Glad they're keeping the dream sequences to a bare minimum. but I do think not much is getting settled in these last 9 eps so far... but I do see how they are redrawing the characters as old and vulnerable, ready to fall.
