Ok, here's my expierence with the huey pro upgrade. I bought it. Ugh, I can't believe I actually payed money for it, its nice but it sure aint worth the money.
So, I run the windows installer and I get a message stating I need to buy the new piece of hardware and was redirected to a page where I can do so!!!
BUT! No worries, it turns out you don't have to pay another penny, you're /really/ redircted to a page where you can download a firmware update and essentially have a huey pro piece of hardware.
Next up: the calibration process which is pretty much the same. There is a new step which I assume is for crt screens and after you do the usual.... "stick your huey on the screen" part, you get asked to name your new ICC profile and then it moves on to ask what white point you'd like (d50, d60, d75) and also which gamma (1.8, 2.2, 2.4) and thats about it. It asks the usual "would you like to use the ambient sensor" thing and there you have it. Not worth the money like I said, I wouldn't buy it. If I already hadn't that is.
DAMN!
Oh, new tab in the options panel too, you can choose how frequently you'd like a calibration reminder, options are between 1-14 days or not at all...
Thats all folks!
