the tipping and dirnking thing didn't really take me that long to get used to. it's just part of the cost of a drink in my head now. but with the added bonus of getting every third or fourth drink for free.
for food i just tend to double the tax, unless it was very good service.
it's all the other things i have no idea about, laundry service, delivery guy, slice place... etc etc.
