hmmm, sounds a wee bit like the last story in cat's eyes: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0088… but there's only one wee troll thing with a little knife and drew barrymore is the one it's terrorizing but her parent's don't believe her and blame the cat that has befriended her but the wee troll keeps coming back every night to try and steal the girls soul by sucking out her breath and the cat gets thrown out of the house but somehow gets back in the house just in time to send the wee troll flying into a fan and it goes squish and the cat is a hero and drew barrymore lives on to make shit films like that one with adam sandler.
