the amendment was created a while ago to protect you from the government and foreigners. maybe it should be updated.
By the way, the shooter's family has been in USA for a while and is a legal citizen.
not to say that guns should be taken out of the picture, because violence will always be there, but the logic behind having guns doesn't make much sense, because it still seems like a circle to me. Like: everyone else can have guns, so I should be able to have one too.
I know people who have done travelling in the USA and have been stared at with amazement for not having a gun to protect themselves. That concept is so alien to me.
I'm just curious about something. Is it more important to have guns for hunting/gaming or for protection? Because if it's for protection, then wouldn't it be better if no one had guns because they had another level of violence, usually.
