yeah, it's a weird comparison. but where I work at least one of them dudes has a weapon with him (in his car). And believe it or not, it's precisely the most neurotic of them all (in my view at least).
it would be easy to say: bah, it's them fuckin' americans. but it's not. it's them fuckin' nut-jobs. of course America plays 250 million to 10 here (16 in Holland), so the probability of having a nutter bursting violence through a classroom is much smaller, like 2 per year * 16/250.
of course the ease of guns (and their movie culture) plays a major role in this, but a psychotic is a psychotic and hardly follows trends.
I may be wrong, though. I don't think anyone knows what's going on. I sure don't.
