Growing up, I always had to play goalie because I never learned how to skate. So I would always have to play on foot but that was never any real fun because everyone would skate around me, haha.
I was a dope goalie though with all my friends pads.
I hated roller pucks though, just stick to those balls. The balls hurt enough when it is freezing out, however, the roller pucks are the things that I can still almost feel crushing my ribs or hitting my arms and just leaving welts like ... well I am sure you can imagine, haha.
It was funny though, because every once in awhile I would use someone’s roller blades and everyone would be laughing and I’d even score here and there but wouldn’t be able to do any celebrations because if I wasn’t falling while I was shooting, I would be falling immediately afterwards running into a car, or wall or something since I wasn’t paying attention to where I was going, haha.
I remember knocking myself out one time on a breakaway and instead of doing a wrister or anything I decided I was going to fucking try to peg this kid with the ball hard because he always seemed to nail me when I was in goal, so I wind up to take a slap shot ... sure enough my momentum made me do a complete flip practically head-under-heels and just complete wiped out something awful, haha.

I went back to goalie for ever after that.
