I mean... he was releasing a statistic and people freaked out about it – but, wherever race is part of the equation - people get their backs up... it's kind of natural.
That and we live in an era where we're waiting for the next person to talk shit about us (or our interests) so we can whine.
It's like the classic relationship conflict: you're so concerned about what you're going to say next, you don't listen to what your partner is saying right now.
