its hard, but don't stress.
Go down to the unemployment office while you are downtown and see what you can get.
Then make sure that you talk to the labor board and see what's up. The laws in this case are in your favor, I believe.
Does he pay you hourly? If not (salary) you have nothing to worry about. It sounds like he is trying to scare you. Don't let him. Talk to the labor board and let them handle some things on their end, or at least get their opinion.
