    Also, I don't ever remember Imus being on the bad end of a firehose. But again, that's just my opinion.

    to say that black people are powerless is completely ignorant, and is an insult to the progress made by black people since the days of slavery...

    I am a white kid who grew up in both the south and north, and in largely black areas. I remember being called a cracker ass white boy and milky throughout my schooling, just because I dressed a little differently. I am pretty sure that had some effect on me...

    rap music is not to blame for Imus's comment, but it plays a large part in the way that black peoople are viewed in our society...and I have never seen video or audio of the REVEREND jesse jackson and REVEREND al sharpton marching in front of DMX concerts...a guy who has repetedly used religon on his albums to condone his own acts of violence, and the verbal assaults against the women in his life
