you are f*ckin solders ffs!! you are trained to deal with situations like that arent you?
do people actually join the army or navy and think that they are never ever going to have to go to war or something?!what was it? a week or so they were held "captive" then moan about it.
what a disgrace to the british forces.i heard a quote on the news from a US soldier saying "yeah, our troops would never have got caught in the first place, they wouldve fought to the end". which i thought was brilliant haha.
But yeah, our grandparents generation that fought in the 1st + 2nd world wars had to endure a SH*TLOAD more crap that that, worse treatment, worse conditions etc.
again, what a bunch of saps!
im not saying that i wouldnt be just as sappy if i was in that situation - but THAT is the reason why i'd never sign up for any of the forces.
