Oh, didn't realize it was you, Dom. Hey! Your username gives you away though, hehe.
As for the location, I think it's fairly important. The other uni here is has narrow roads, older buildings and is in the heart of downtown. The uni I chose is near downtown, but has a lot more space and greenery. And has been receiving lots of funding lately.
Location also has to do with restaurants, entertainment, proximity to services & family & friends, etc, etc, especially if your university doesn't have all the services you require.
For example, having a uni downtown would be more beneficial for obvious reasons - easier transportation, more places to eat, etc, but is also quite crowded.
