I usually wake up at 6:20am and get up to do stuff, usually walk to the gym and work out before getting to the studio. If I'm busy I'll use those hours to tie up loose ends on freelance projects.
The rare days I don't get up at this time are like amazing weekend lie-ins.
Best bet is regular exercise and eating well, loads of fruit and veg and all that kind of thing, and you'll be able to survive on 6 hours, easy. You only need that much anyway.
And lay off weed!
