I didn't like Planet Terror, but loved Death Proof. First half of Death Proof was starting to get a little boring, but it was needed for character development, to make you care about them more... I didn't think Tarantino would pull it off, but once the car chase started, I was blown away. That's gotta be the best car chase scene ever, even better than Ronin's. The New Zealand chick was awesome, and that was her first movie as an actual actor (she did stunt work for Kill Bill and some other movies).
