Sounds like a tactic used by most of the big software manufacturers abroad, rather than opt to set prices according to exchange rates they just hike the price, so if something like Vista (for example) is $160 they sell it in England for £160 pounds. Its a disgrace really.
But why they would charge so much in Germany is anyone's guess. The Euro is worth more than the Dollar but not that much more...
