many people swear by godaddy, but they've been involved in some shenanigans. they sold off someone's domain after they contacted the original owner stating that his email address was invalid and he had x number of days to correct it before they took the domain away from him. uh, unfortunately they sent that message to him via email.
i've used directnic for the past 9 years, and i have no complaints.
