Jeez. This thread's got off track.
For Carlos, try reading something like Stephen J. Gould's The Mismeasure of Man. While Gould doesn't deal with athletics and 'race', he does talk at length about intelligence and 'race'.
And there's a huge body of work that argues that 'race' is a social construct. See writers ranging from Bell Hooks to Dionne Brand.
I could spend more time on this topic but, frankly, your argument up to this point is weak and unconvincing, and smells something awful.
