    did anyone see gus van sant's last days? i've been on the fence about it

    Though there are subjects and people I wish would get untouched by film and media – its too much to ask these days. I think Gus did a good job with Last Days, trying to make a justified retelling and not forcing any of the specific nature of the events on it – as only Gus can.

    And Michael Pitt was phenomenal, both his acting role and his role musically in the film – he deserves a lot of credit.

    as for "gaying it up":

    I know that, I just mean like in Last Days & Elephant there were scenes that were overly gay & for no reason it seemed?
