    jysta,

Marketing Coordinator, though I don't really do anything that such a job profile describes. It's just the next title our company had after Marketing Assistant and before Marketing Manager.

Many descriptions for that kind of job deal with all sorts of event planning, working with clients, etc. I don't do that stuff at all, our Assistant does.

100% of managing our web site content and initiatives is my responsibility, and in general I'm the decision maker on everything we do with it (which comes with plenty of telling attorneys "sorry, we just don't do that," when they come to us to reinvent the wheel or create content that would be outrageously ineffective. It can be a laugh sometimes - but that's when I feel my abilities working - I understand how to guage the benefits of what we may or may not do. We're a firm of nearly 80 attorneys now and we have seen huge growth in the past year, both in size and in our marketing efforts. It's fun - it can get boring at times, but the joy is in working for a great company, knowing that attorneys and management depend on me and that I'm leaving a good mark on things there. Often times I'm the only person we have for knowledge of certain things, and it's rewarding to be depended on for that.

I do plenty of other things... lots of working with attorneys to make their bios effective, get them interested in writing legal articles and targeting publications, editing and editing and rewriting to make things understandable by non-lawyers (always a challenge). Also manage and direct our client newsletter, published quarterly and mailed to around 5,000 clients and contacts.
