    Thanks morilla :)

I hate to ever sound like I'm on some kind of a high horse to people about having a degree, because I'm totally not that way. I'm an average designer and certainly don't have the kind of work in my portfolio that many people around here do.

But my current job experience is giving me so much beyond just production work, which, correct me if I'm wrong, the majority of people are doing who DO NOT have degrees.

I couldn't do my job without my educational knowledge. I didn't know anything really about legal marketing when I started in marketing at this law firm, but my education helped me figure it out - lots of things like understanding our target clients, knowing how to give them what they need to make decisions about our services, etc.

I guess the main question is, depending on your desired career path, how far can you see yourself going financially without a degree and just working as a Designer? Are the opportunities as good for becoming a CD, AD, Advertising Director, Marketing Director, etc. aka the jobs that are going to make you much more $$, if you don't have a degree?
