im missing the connection with aids
+ defton stylus & impact (nononono)
its really flashy (in a computer arts tutorial kinda way) - im sure u could totally refrain frm any of the insane visual effects and still come out with a really strong msg
i think its always a temptation to use EVERY trick in the bag on every piece of work u do - but u dont need (hand sketches+light beams, paint splatters, + emo photo + distressed type + fat outlines) after a while it become as a mess of effects
pick a 'trick' that is connected with the outcome (ie a light beam = a lifeline) and make THAT the focus.. Otherwise u will make the reader a bit nauseous ;)
asides from form over function comments - pretty intense
